Material Handler (Temporary – 3 Months)
Oldbury, West Midlands | £20.00 per hour | 38 Hours per Week
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with a leading chemical manufacturer in Oldbury to recruit a Material Handler on a 3-month temporary contract.
Working within a busy production environment, you'll support plant operations through material handling, tanker loading, stock movement and packing activities, whilst ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Packing products into IBCs and drums.
* Unpacking raw materials from IBCs into storage tanks.
* Moving IBCs, drums and materials around the site.
* Loading product tankers.
* Completing operational documentation including packing sheets, loading sheets and housekeeping records.
* Supporting compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures.
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the plant.
About You
* Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential).
* Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, chemical or process environment.
* Experience handling drums, IBCs or bulk materials would be advantageous.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable completing operational paperwork and basic system updates.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
* 07:45am – 16:00pm
* 45-minute unpaid lunch
* 38-hour working week
