The advice you give today could shape better decisions across the business for months to come. As a part-time HR Advisor, you'll be trusted to support managers, strengthen people practices and help create a positive, compliant and well-supported working environment where employees can thrive.
Working closely with the wider HR team, you'll provide expert guidance across a broad range of employee relations matters while contributing to key people initiatives and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced business.

Your responsibilities as HR Advisor
Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures and employment matters
Support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and redundancy cases
Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems
Monitor absence data, produce reports and identify opportunities for improvement
Support recruitment activity and contribute to projects that enhance business performance
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders while analysing data to support informed decision-making
Ensure employee absenteeism is monitored and reported monthly, and any issues are dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
Coaching and developing manager in their own capability of managing people issues.
Supporting the Head of HR and the wider HR team in the delivery of the people plan and working on HR projects appropriately
What we're looking for in a HR Advisor
CIPD Level 5 qualification, or currently working towards it
Strong knowledge and practical application of UK employment law
Experience providing HR guidance across a broad range of employee relations matters
Confident using HR systems together with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities while producing accurate, well-organised work
Proven experience of working as a HR Advisor
Working hours: Part time – 25 hours per week.
