Position: Maths Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Start Date: September 2026
Smart Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a successful and inclusive secondary school in East London for a Maths Teacher to join the team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will join a supportive department that is dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes and fostering a love of mathematics.
The Role
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, monitor and report on student progress, using assessment to inform future teaching.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-level examinations.
Contribute to the wider life of the department and the school.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Mathematics across secondary key stages, including A-level.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice.
Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring students of all abilities.
Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements
