Specialist SEMH Lecturer
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £34,500 - £41,100 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Think FE are working with a supportive specialist college in Northamptonshire to recruit a Specialist SEMH Lecturer to join their Foundation Learning team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting post-16 learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
You’ll be delivering inclusive, engaging lessons that help learners build confidence, resilience and the skills they need to progress.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEMH learners, including Functional Skills and bespoke programmes.
Create innovative, trauma-informed learning experiences that promote emotional regulation and resilience.
Support learners with additional needs through inclusive teaching and positive behaviour strategies.
Requirements
Experience working with post-16 students, ideally within SEMH, SEND, Foundation Learning or a similar setting.
A proven ability to motivate learners and deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching.
GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
