BMS Panel Wireman
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
My client is looking for a motivated and reliable BMS Panel Wireman to join their growing team based at their Tunbridge Wells office, which includes a dedicated in-house workshop.
The Role
As a BMS Panel Wireman, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of Building Management System (BMS) control panels. Working within the workshop, you will play a key role in ensuring panels are built to a high standard and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Wiring and assembly of BMS control panels from schematics and technical drawings
Installation of components including relays, terminals, power supplies, and controllers
Panel modification, fault finding, and testing
Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
Working closely with the engineering team to meet project deadlines
What My Client Is Looking For
Previous panel wiring experience, ideally within BMS, controls, or electrical panel manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Electrical qualifications or relevant workshop experience would be advantageous
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Standard hours are generally 8:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility available with either a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break
Overtime opportunities are available during busy periods, including evenings and weekends
Salary & Benefits
£25,000 for candidates with limited experience
Up to £32,000 for candidates with strong experience in a similar role
Regular overtime opportunities
