We are seeking an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join a reputable independent motorcycle and car specialist garage located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career in a supportive and well-established environment.
Benefits for the successful Motorcycle Technician:
Salary negotiable based on experience, up to £36,000
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
NO weekends working
Full training provided
Working on a variety of motorcycles and cars during quieter periods
Opportunity to develop skills within a reputable independent garage
Supportive team environment
Career progression opportunities for motivated individualsDuties of the Motorcycle Technician:
Servicing and repairing motorcycles and cars to a high standard
Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently
Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
Assisting with vehicle handovers and explaining repairs to customers
Providing guidance and support to junior team members as required
Carrying out MOTs (advantageous but not essential)
Working on a variety of motorcycles and vehicles, ensuring quality workmanshipRequirements of the Motorcycle Technician:
Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician, with a background in car repairs preferred
Valid motorcycle and car driving licences
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
Willingness to undertake additional training
Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
