Simulation Systems Engineer – Stevenage (Hybrid)- Permanent- Circa £46,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Simulation Systems Engineer to join a specialist team supporting the testing and development of advanced engineering systems.
Were looking for an ambitious candidate with a broad engineering background, you will be a hands on individual with a pro-active approach
This is a hands-on role maintaining and supporting complex real-time simulation equipment, including hydraulic motion systems, control systems, and positioning equipment. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities to ensure critical test facilities remain operational.
We are looking for an engineer with broad experience, SOME of the below would be useful;
* Experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical or control systems
* Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
* CAD experience (Creo desirable)
* Practical workshop and fault-finding skills
* IT literate with experience using maintenance or management systems
* Comfortable working at height and using hand and power tools
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
Ideally educated to degree level in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aeronautical or Electronic Engineering, or possess equivalent industry experience.
