On‑Prem IAM Support Engineer (Contract) - On‑site (Inverness) - £470/day
A high-impact contract role supporting on‑prem Identity & Access Management in an enterprise environment. If you're the person people call when AD/LDAP authentication breaks, access requests pile up, or audit questions land-this is for you.
The role
You'll own day-to-day support and improvement of on‑prem IAM services to keep authentication, authorisation, and access controls running securely and reliably.
What you'll be doing
Supporting and troubleshooting on‑prem IAM platforms (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP and related services)
Monitoring performance, diagnosing incidents, and driving fixes to reduce downtime
Handling user provisioning/de‑provisioning, access changes and audits
Working with security and engineering teams to implement policies and stay compliant
Producing clear documentation for processes, fixes, and configurations
What we're looking for
Proven experience supporting on‑prem IAM (AD / LDAP / similar)
Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms, access management, security protocols
Confident troubleshooting under pressure in a production environment
Clear communicator (technical + non‑technical stakeholders)
Security/IAM certifications are a bonus (e.g., CISSP/CISA or similar)
