Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £35,000 Basic | OTE £41,000

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 5:00pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll be responsible for producing accurate repair estimates, assessing vehicle damage both on-site and from digital images, and ensuring every repair opportunity is identified. You'll work closely with the workshop team to maximise repair profitability while maintaining excellent customer service and insurer standards.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate repair estimates for damaged vehicles.
Assess vehicle damage both on-site and from photographs.
Take detailed images of vehicle damage for estimating purposes.
Maximise repair opportunities and identify additional work where appropriate.
Liaise with technicians and the wider bodyshop team throughout the repair process.
Ensure estimates are completed efficiently and accurately.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator.
Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating processes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Experience using estimating systems would be advantageous.
Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: £35,000
Realistic OTE: £41,000
Monthly bonus of up to £500 when site targets are achieved.
Annual pay reviews.
