Location: City Academy Norwich
Salary: FTE: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum Pro Rata: £22,511 - £23,649 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay

Role Overview
Learning Support Assistants play a vital part in delivering high-quality SEND provision across the Academy. Deployment may include:
* In-class support
* Small-group or 1:1 interventions
* Working within specialist Nurture classrooms, the Cognition & Learning Base, or the SEMH Base
Applications are welcomed from aspiring teachers or those seeking to develop a career in education or the public sector.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The professional competencies expected of an LSA are:
* The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others;
* Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team;
* Be able to multi-task and work effectively under pressure;
* Demonstrate high levels of resilience and adaptability when working with students who may present complex learning, behavioural, social, emotional or medical needs;
* Be able to adapt approaches, routines and strategies in response to changing circumstances individual student needs and the wider demands of the school environment;
* Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills;
* Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions;
* The ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges.
