BDS Recruitment are currently looking for a Youth Support Worker to work within a supported housing complex in Redruth for young people aged 18- 25.
We are looking for someone innovative and creative in their ways of working to work who has the ability to engage with a range of young people.
Main duties will include
* Provide one-to-one key worker support to young people aged 16–25.
* Develop and review support and action plans tailored to individual goals.
* Support young people with tenancy and housing management.
* Assist with benefits applications (e.g., Universal Credit, PIP, Housing Benefit).
* Guide young people in budgeting, paying bills, and managing finances.
* Explore and support pathways into education, training, and employment.
* Collaborate with external agencies (mental health, domestic violence services, landlords, etc.).
* Help young people prepare for independent living and successful move-on.
Hours per week: 37 hours on a Rota pattern between 8am and 8pm
Contract; Temp ongoing role.
Pay rate: £15.34ph paye or £19.90 umbrella
An enahnced DBS check will be required.
