Salary/Rate: £13.46 per hour + 20% Shift Allowance (AWD/AWR Salary Equivalent: £26,476.00)
Shift Pattern: A Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM - 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
Job Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract

Position Overview
Are you looking for a stable, long-term manufacturing role with excellent shift premiums and a predictable schedule?
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a high-performing, established team in Cramlington. In this onsite role, you will safely and efficiently produce high-quality, single-use medical products within a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment. Working to a defined production schedule, you will help ensure critical customer orders are manufactured accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Assembly: Follow detailed assembly drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manually assemble critical medical components on a production line.
Material Handling: Handle critical components and set up/kit raw materials for production.
Quality Assurance: Inspect finished goods against approved specifications to ensure stringent quality and cGMP compliance are maintained.
Tool Operation: Use manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools safely.
Documentation: Accurately detail and record critical cGMP data within batch records.
Workplace Standards: Comply with all safe working practices, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain 5S standards in the production environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous manufacturing assembly experience is required, with clean room and cGMP/GMP experience highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and accurately follow Batch Record Sheets and standard work instructions, alongside basic mathematical skills.
Attributes: A punctual, dependable work ethic with the ability to build effective relationships in a team environment.
Flexibility: Resilience and adaptability to handle changing production requirements, utilising your own initiative to solve problems.
