Warehouse Operative – Picking/Packing and Goods In
Interaction Recruitment are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy team working across both Picking/Packing and Goods In departments.
This is a varied role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a decent level of IT knowledge. You will be joining a team of seven people across the two departments and will be expected to support both areas as required.
Key Duties
Picking customer orders accurately from pick sheets.
Processing and preparing orders ready for courier collection.
Receiving new stock into the warehouse.
Logging incoming stock onto the company system.
Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
Handling boxed items weighing up to 15kg.
Supporting general warehouse duties across Picking/Packing and Goods In.
Candidate Requirements
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude are essential.
Good attention to detail when picking, processing, and booking in stock.
A decent level of IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
Confidence using warehouse or stock systems; Sage experience would be beneficial.
Physically able to handle boxed items weighing up to 15kg.
Previous warehouse, picking, packing, goods in, or stock control experience would be advantageous.
Hours and Pay
Monday to Friday
08:30 to 17:00
30-minute unpaid lunch break
40 hours per week
Starting pay: £12.71 per hour
