Role Overview

On behalf of our client, a large automotive manufacturing company, we are looking for Welders based in Warwick. This role will be working hands on within our clients production team following documented welding procedures and work instructions in line with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

This role will be offered on a 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs)

Key Responsibilities

Working cross-departmentally to assist with different requirements as and when required and to develop professional skills further
Weld medium to heavy-gauge steel fabrications (2mm–10mm) using MIG and MAG welding processes
Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and actioning independently and as part of a team as per specifications
Ensuring the working environment is in line with health and safety standards
Supporting the team and management when required, whilst working independently and having a self-starter approach
Skills & Experience Required

Experience in MIG and MAG welding is a requirement
Relevant experience as a Welder, ideally coming from an automotive background
Capable of working at varying heights and in confined areas, with the ability to climb on vehicles, access bodies and hoppers, and perform occasional manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
Strong attention to detail
ISO 9606-1 / BSEN 287 coded desirable
