We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who is passionate about driving excellence, improving processes, and ensuring products consistently meet the highest standards.

In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing quality systems across the business, ensuring compliance with industry standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and improve quality assurance processes.
Conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and relevant industry standards.
Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Analysing quality performance data and producing reports to support business decision-making.
Investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Providing technical support and guidance to operational teams on quality-related matters.
Developing, maintaining, and improving quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Supporting customer and supplier quality activities where required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Quality Engineer position within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of ISO9001 and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Experience using quality management tools and techniques.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
