The role – Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving primary school in Lambeth. In this role, you will provide focused academic support through targeted one-to-one and small group interventions, helping pupils to strengthen their understanding, close learning gaps, and make sustained academic progress across the curriculum.

You will work closely with children with ASD and those presenting challenging behaviour, taking a calm, consistent, and supportive approach to ensure they are fully able to access learning. The role will involve implementing structured, evidence-based strategies to support engagement, reinforce key learning objectives, and promote positive learning behaviours within the classroom.
