Full-Time - Remote

Role: Product Support Specialist (Maternity Cover)
Contract: Fixed-term contract
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Travel: Hybrid - remote (UK-based) with one day per week in Paddington, London

iO Associates are working with a growing technology business that's making a real difference within the Health & Social Care sector. They've developed their own procurement platform that's used by care providers across the UK, helping organisations streamline purchasing while reducing costs without compromising on quality.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Product Support Specialist to join the team. Whilst this role is initially offered on a fixed-term basis, the business has ambitious plans for expansion and there are genuine opportunities for the right person to grow with the organisation.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with customers and technology, and wants to be part of a small, collaborative team where you'll have real ownership and visibility.

Responsibilities:

You'll become the go-to person for supporting the company's web-based platform, working closely with customers, suppliers and third-party developers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line application support and troubleshooting platform issues
  • Carrying out software testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before new releases
  • Liaising with third-party developers to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Supporting customer onboarding and platform configuration
  • Assisting with integrations including SSO, FTP and APIs
  • Managing supplier product information and uploading catalogues onto the platform
  • Providing Microsoft 365 administration and general internal IT support
  • Working from well-documented processes while identifying opportunities to improve them

Requirements:

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience supporting software or SaaS applications and enjoy working in a customer-facing environment.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • 1st line application or software support
  • Software testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Working with third-party suppliers or developers
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with APIs, FTP, Single Sign-On (SSO) or systems integrations would be highly beneficial, although not essential

More importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys working in a small business, is proactive, adaptable and isn't afraid to get involved across a variety of projects.

What's in it for you?

  • Salary of £40,000-£45,000 (with flexibility for the right experience)
  • Hybrid working with just one day per week in the Paddington office
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • The chance to join a genuinely supportive, close-knit team
  • Excellent exposure across product, technology and customer support
  • The opportunity to grow with a business that's investing heavily in its platform and future

If you're looking for a varied Support role where you can make a real impact whilst developing your career within a growing technology business, I'd love to hear from you.
