Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Contracts Manager, an initial 12 month contract.

  • Inside of IR35/Umbrella set up only
  • £550 - £675 a day
  • Hybrid working to an office in Scotland (multiple locations available)
  • Capital projects

We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of a portfolio of high-value projects valued between £20m and £50m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tendering, negotiation, and award of NEC contracts.
  • Draft, review, and manage complex contractual agreements.
  • Provide commercial and contractual oversight across multiple projects (typically 6-7 concurrently).
  • Manage post-contract activities, including compensation events, payment forecasting, accruals, and contract compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks while supporting successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing contracts on large-scale infrastructure, construction, engineering, or utilities projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
