Operations Assistant

Location: Kettering

Salary: £28,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:30pm | Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Are you someone who loves keeping things organised and running smoothly?

Our client is looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business, working across different departments, and helping keep operations efficient and on track.

What you'll be doing:

-Providing day-to-day administrative support across the business.

-Maintaining accurate records, databases, and company documentation.

-Preparing reports and assisting with operational administration.

-Coordinating meetings, managing diaries, and organising schedules.

-Liaising with suppliers and supporting general office operations.

-Helping with onboarding new team members and ensuring everything is ready for their first day.

-Monitoring projects and keeping operational tasks on track.

-Identifying ways to improve processes and helping the team work more efficiently.

-Acting as a key point of contact between departments to keep communication flowing.

-Supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

What our client is looking for:

-Previous experience in an operations, administration, or office support role.

-Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

-Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.

-Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

-Great communication skills and the confidence to build positive working relationships.

-A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

-Someone who enjoys taking ownership of tasks and using their initiative.

-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
