Class 1 Hgv Driver

Our client, a well-established logistics and transport business based in Barnsley, is looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work.

We have immediate opportunities available on both day and night shifts:

* Day Shifts: Curtain sider general haulage

* Night Shifts: Trunking between distribution centres

These are excellent opportunities for professional drivers seeking regular, ongoing work with a reputable employer.

Duties

Days

* Curtain sider general haulage

* Deliveries and collections

* Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork

* Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely

Nights

* Trunking between RDCs and customer depots

* Minimal manual handling

* Pre- and post-shift vehicle checks

* Compliance with driver hours and transport legislation

Candidate Requirements

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

* Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

* No DR, DD or IN endorsements

* Reliable, professional and safety-focused
