Veritas Education is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Burnley for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their dedicated Special Educational Needs Hub.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers with a specialism or strong interest in Special Educational Needs.

The Role

Teach a small class of 5-9 pupils within the school's SEN Hub.
Support pupils with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Lead and manage a team of two Special Support Assistants, ensuring the best possible outcomes for pupils.
Work collaboratively with the wider school team, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A passion for Special Educational Needs and inclusive education.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire, nurture and motivate pupils with a range of needs.
Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

Salary

Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS) - dependent on experience.
