Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a new full-time opportunity this September? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established college in Halton to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Maths Teacher to teach GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths to post-16 learners in a supportive and well-resourced learning environment. The college has a strong reputation for helping students achieve their academic goals and offers excellent facilities alongside a collaborative teaching team.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of learners with a range of abilities.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence in mathematics.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.Working Hours

This is a full-time position with an excellent working pattern:

Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Tuesday - Thursday: 8:15am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:15am - 2:00pmThe Ideal Candidate will have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate learners.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for helping students succeed and reach their full potential.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
