Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Bedfordshire
The Facilities department is hiring a motivated Construction Project Manager to manage a new industrial construction project at the site. The successful candidate will work within the Facilities project team and act as the primary contact to the consultant and contractor to ensure the project is delivered to the high standards and times scale provided. We are looking for a collaborative and knowledgeable individual to work client side to effectively manage the flow of information and the project budget, timescale, and any variations in scope.
Key Responsibilities
Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders for the project
Manage and administrate the contractor, consultant client meetings
Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
Records, monitors, and reports progress regularly to the wider facilities team and LMUK Ampthill Project team
Checks the construction activities meet the accepted brief
Review, challenge and or accept contractor invoices based on work completed
Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project or escalates to wider team
