Are you a recent Science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? Do you have a passion for inspiring young minds and supporting the next generation of scientists?
We are working with dynamic and inclusive primary schools across South Manchester who are seeking motivated Science graduates to join their support teams this September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or educational psychology.
As a Science Graduate Support Assistant, you will:
Work alongside experienced science teachers to support students in lessons and practical's
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to boost engagement and understanding
Help prepare materials and equipment for experiments
Inspire students to develop a love of learning and curiosity in science
Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment
A recent graduate in a science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)
Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is a plus but not essential
