We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Engineer to join our growing team, working for a well-established civil engineering contractor on the delivery of a new build school project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile education development, taking responsibility for setting out, quality control, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out works using GPS and robotic total station equipment.
Producing accurate records and as-built surveys.
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed in accordance with design requirements.
Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Assisting with planning daily site activities alongside the Site Manager.
Maintaining accurate site records, diaries, and quality documentation.
Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met at all times.
Identifying and resolving engineering and construction issues on site.
Liaising with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.

Project Scope

The project includes a range of civil engineering works associated with the construction of a new school, including:

Earthworks
Foundations
Drainage
Roads and car parks
Kerbing and paving
External works
Utilities and associated infrastructure
