About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Account Manager to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in internal sales, account management, estimating, or customer service within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Reporting to the Lead Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, producing quotations, processing orders, and building long-term customer relationships. This is a fast-paced role where organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate quotations and process customer sales orders
Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Read and interpret technical drawings to support quotations
Follow up quotations and record customer feedback
Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates
Monitor and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
Achieve a minimum target of 8 quotations per day
Maintain quote response times of less than 4 hours
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Support continuous improvement initiatives and company standards
Adhere to all Health & Safety and 5S requirementsSkills & Experience Required
Previous experience in Internal Sales, Account Management, Estimating, Sales Support or Customer Service
Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings (desirable)
Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or industrial sectors (preferred)
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Team player with a flexible attitudeWhat's on Offer?
