A well-established and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
About the role
Year 5 Teacher – Part-Time (Thursday & Friday)
2 Days per Week | Full Academic Year
Location: Ealing
Start Date: September 2026
You will share responsibility for a Year 5 class, teaching every Thursday and Friday. Working closely with your job-share partner and the wider Key Stage 2 team, you will deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and ensure continuity of learning throughout the week.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and able to maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 5 class every Thursday and Friday.
Work collaboratively with your job-share partner to ensure continuity of learning, assessment, and classroom routines throughout the week.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every pupil is supported and challenged appropriately.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and a love of learning.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the wider life of the school.
Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other professional commitments relevant to your contracted working days.
Work closely with the Key Stage 2 team to share planning, resources, and best practice.

Strong communication and organisational skills
