Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction
Location: London
Salary: Up to £85,000 DOE + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Career Progression
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected construction contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment, heritage and restoration projects across London.
Working on prestigious buildings including historic landmarks, listed properties and complex refurbishment schemes, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing commercial performance while supporting the delivery of exceptional projects.
This position offers the opportunity to develop within a stable and growing business, with clear progression routes and involvement in some of the capital’s most unique construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial delivery of refurbishment, restoration and heritage projects.
* Oversee cost control, valuations, variations, forecasting and financial reporting.
* Prepare and review tenders, subcontractor packages and procurement strategies.
* Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project teams.
* Provide commercial advice throughout all project stages.
* Support the successful delivery of projects to budget, programme and quality standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
* Strong background in refurbishment, heritage or restoration projects.
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work autonomously.
