The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a busy property maintenance team delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation work across residential properties.
This is a customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, completing electrical installations, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs and maintenance works within occupied and vacant properties.
* Complete remedial works, rewires, kitchen and bathroom upgrade installations, emergency lighting and alarm systems.
* Diagnose electrical faults and achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.
* Conduct electrical testing, inspections and surveys, producing accurate reports and documentation.
* Ensure repairs are completed within agreed response times and to a high standard.
* Use handheld technology to manage job scheduling, updates and completion records.
* Support colleagues on larger projects and work collaboratively across the maintenance team.
* Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
* Manage vehicle stock, materials and tools effectively and safely.
About You :
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* ECS or CSCS card.
* Experience carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance within domestic properties.
* Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
* Good IT skills and experience using mobile job management systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* A full UK driving licence.
