Reception Class Teacher - SEN School

Remedy Education are looking for a dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join a supportive SEN school based in Lambeth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with strong EYFS and SEN experience who is confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The school are looking for someone nurturing, patient and creative, with the ability to deliver engaging early years learning in a structured and inclusive environment.

Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £180-£230 per day

The Role:

As a Reception Class Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
* Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
* Support pupils' communication, social interaction and emotional development
* Use play-based learning and structured activities to encourage progress
* Adapt teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs
* Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and therapy teams
* Monitor pupil progress through observations and assessment
* Support pupils with routines, transitions and positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status
* Strong EYFS teaching experience
* SEN experience is highly desirable
* Confidence supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
* A nurturing, patient and creative approach
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* The ability to work well with support staff and wider professionals
* A genuine passion for helping young children with SEN thrive
