Salary: £33,000 basic + bonus + excellent benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join their high-performing commercial team.

This isn't an order processing or customer service role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, following up opportunities and turning enquiries into sales. You'll own your pipeline, negotiate with customers and play a key role in driving revenue.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
30-minute lunch break each day.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to securing the order, ensuring every opportunity is maximised.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing inbound sales enquiries by phone and email

*

Producing accurate and competitive quotations

*

Following up every quotation to maximise conversions

*

Building strong relationships with new and existing customers

*

Negotiating confidently to secure business while protecting margins

*

Identifying opportunities to upsell and increase order value

*

Sourcing products from UK and European suppliers

*

Supporting supply chain with long lead-time product sourcing

*

Processing customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently

*

Maintaining accurate customer and sales records

*

Working closely with internal departments to deliver an excellent customer experience

About You

We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, confident speaking with customers and enjoys the challenge of winning business.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in Internal Sales, Sales Executive, Sales Support, Account Management or Business Development

*

A proactive approach and the confidence to pick up the phone and build relationships

*

A genuine passion for sales and delivering results

*

Strong negotiation and communication skills

*

A target-driven mindset with the motivation to maximise every opportunity

*

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

*

Good IT skills and experience using CRM or order processing systems
