Salary: Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly)

Location: East London (Epping Forest, Redbridge, Ardleigh Green, Poplar & Hackney)

Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Long-Term (Full Academic Year)

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for a rewarding role within education?

Blackstone Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education provider for a full-time Administrator to join their team from mid-August for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants to make a positive impact by supporting students with additional communication needs.

The Role

You will provide high-quality administrative support to a specialist team working with students who have speech and language difficulties. You'll be responsible for ensuring records are maintained accurately, coordinating appointments and documentation, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service.

During your first 2–4 weeks, you will spend time across several East London campuses to familiarise yourself with the service and build relationships with colleagues.

Following this induction period, there is expected to be greater flexibility, with the opportunity to work primarily from your nearest campus or from home for part of the week, alongside visits to other campuses as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide efficient administrative support to a specialist education team.

* Maintain accurate student records and confidential documentation.

* Coordinate meetings, appointments and schedules.

* Prepare reports, correspondence and administrative paperwork.

* Communicate professionally with staff, students and external agencies.

* Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.

* Support the smooth delivery of student services across multiple campuses.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

* Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.

* Experience within education, SEND, healthcare or student services is desirable but not essential.

* An interest in supporting students with speech and language difficulties would be advantageous.

What We Offer

* Full-time hours (5 days per week).

* Term-time only working.

* Weekly pay.

* Long-term opportunity for the full academic year.

* Supportive and collaborative working environment.

* Opportunity for flexible working following the initial induction period.

If you're an organised administrator looking for your next opportunity within education, we'd love to hear from you.
