Applications Engineer - CNC Machine Tools
Location:Based Midlands or North UK (Working Nationally including Ireland)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE + Overtime + Company Car + Private Healthcare
Are you an experienced CNC Applications Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're looking for a customer-focused engineer to join a growing team, supporting customers across the UK, Ireland and occasionally Germany.
The Role
Deliver turnkey CNC machine solutions from installation through to customer handover.
Carry out time studies and process optimisation.
Provide customer training and ongoing applications support.
Work closely with customers to improve machining performance and productivity.
Support a wide range of customers, from large OEMs to smaller subcontract manufacturers.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a CNC Applications Engineer or similar.
Strong CAD/CAM knowledge (Siemens NX preferred).
Experience with 5-axis CNC milling and mill-turn machines.
Good understanding of machining processes and cutting technology.
Knowledge of Siemens controls is preferred, although Fanuc or Heidenhain experience is welcomed as full training can be provided.
Happy to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
