Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kirkham
Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Double Days (Week 1: 6am - 2pm, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm)
SRG are currently working with a growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support operations within a fast‑paced production environment. The role focuses on maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SOP, and Health & Safety standards.
Responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, supporting breakdowns, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with machinery installation and improvement projects.
Requirements:
Time‑served engineer with recognised electrical apprenticeship, and/or qualifciation (e.g. HNC, HND, etc. )
Skilled in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience, ideally holding 18th Edition wiring regulations
Strong fault‑finding skills on PLCs, 3‑phase systems, motors, drives, sensors, and relays
