Full-Time
Our client is seeking a Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer to take ownership of their Quality Management System and champion a strong, proactive quality culture across the business.
This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and accountability — balancing customer‑facing quality responsibilities with internal governance, data accuracy, and continuous improvement.
If you enjoy solving problems, influencing stakeholders, and keeping systems tight, controlled, and audit‑ready, this role offers the perfect platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that their quality systems, processes, and customer interactions meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning and governing the Quality Management System (QMS) — ensuring procedures, controls, and records remain current, compliant, and audit‑ready.
* Leading customer quality investigations (RCA/CAPA) — ensuring issues are logged, analysed, resolved, and prevented from recurring.
* Managing internal non‑conformances — driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely closure.
* Facilitating Engineering Change Control (ECR) — ensuring changes are assessed, documented, progressed, and closed in a controlled, traceable manner.
* Maintaining quality data, traceability, and reporting — producing accurate dashboards, insights, and trend analysis.
* Overseeing calibrated asset governance — keeping registers accurate and certificates controlled.
* Supporting UL compliance and customer audits — ensuring evidence is complete, timely, and aligned with requirements.
* Monitoring quarantine stock — identifying trends and escalating systemic issues.
This role works closely with engineering, operations, sales, supply chain, and customers — keeping everyone aligned, informed, and accountable.
What our client is looking for
A structured, resilient professional who is confident working across multiple functions.
Must‑haves:
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail.
* Comfortable coordinating stakeholders and managing expectations.
* Resilient, objective, and solutions‑focused under pressure.
* Confident taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution.
* Excellent record‑keeping and data accuracy.
Technical essentials:
* Engineering, manufacturing, or quality qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and controlled documentation.
* Experience managing customer quality issues, non‑conformances, and corrective actions.
* Understanding of ECR, PPAP/PSW, calibration control, MSA, and non‑conforming product management.
* Competent in quality data analysis and KPI reporting.
* Internal auditor qualification (or lead auditor training).
Desirable:
* Exposure to AS9100 or aerospace‑grade quality systems.
* Experience supporting external or customer audits.
* Confidence using advanced Excel or BI tools for reporting.
*
How our client works
Their values shape everything they do:
* Be Accountable – take ownership and deliver what’s agreed.
* Act with Care – consider the wider impact of decisions.
* Work Together – collaborate, share knowledge, and support others.
* Be Courageous – challenge yourself and others to improve.
* Embrace Curiosity – seek better ways of working.
* Think Customer – understand the commercial impact of quality.
The role is primarily on‑site, but flexible working can be supported where appropriate
