Job title: Principal Waste Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: Subject to clearance
Salary: £60,000-£75,000 Per Annum DOE + Car Allowance + Benefits
Location: Remote Working with occasional travel as and when required.
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week

The Role:
As a Principal Waste Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of project assignments, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also contribute to business development activities where required.

Working as part of the Waste Characterisation team, you will bring experience in shielding assessments and Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) techniques.

Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* You will work as part of a team, and where appropriate, lead consultancy projects in line with the client's management arrangements and project requirements.

* You will provide technical expertise in environmental, waste management, and characterisation services, supporting all areas of the company's operations and delivering against specific contracts.

Experience/Qualifications:
* All candidates MUST be Degree (or Equivalent) qualified in relevant discipline.
* All candidates MUST have experience of Waste Characterisation
* Candidates MUST have experience in Shielding and NDA (Non-Destructive Assay)
* Candidates MUST have a minimum of 5 Years Nuclear Waste Management Experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Legislation
* Class 7 Consignor certification/experience
* Foundation qualification in Radiological Protection (PHE) or AURPO Certificate in Radiation Protection
