Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in a supportive primary school?

We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Hertfordshire, supporting pupils across the whole school from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated team where every day is different and you can make a real impact on children's learning and development.

The Role

As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support across all year groups. You will assist with whole-class learning, lead small group interventions, provide one-to-one support where needed, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child.

The Successful Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school
Be confident supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be patient, proactive and able to use their own initiative
Be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

Your Responsibilities:
Supporting teaching and learning across the school
Delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
Assisting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where appropriate
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement
Preparing learning resources and supporting classroom organisation
Contributing to the positive ethos and wider life of the school
