Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional looking for your next opportunity?

We're partnering with a values-led organisation in Bristol to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Specialist on a fixed-term basis for 4-5 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative HR team, playing a key role in managing a varied and complex ER caseload while making a genuine difference to people's lives.

The Role
Joining an established People team, you will provide expert employee relations support to
managers across the organisation, handling a broad range of cases from start to finish.

You will be responsible for managing a busy caseload, including:
● Sickness absence management
● Disciplinary cases
● Grievances
● Capability and performance issues
● Complex and sensitive employee relations matters
● Advising and coaching managers through formal processes
● Ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation
and organisational policy

You'll work closely with operational leaders and become a trusted advisor, supporting managers with varying levels of HR experience.

About You

We're looking for an experienced ER professional who can quickly build credibility and
confidently manage multiple cases simultaneously.

You'll ideally have:
● Proven experience managing a broad employee relations caseload independently
● Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
● Experience dealing with complex and sensitive cases
● The ability to influence, coach and challenge managers appropriately
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
● A collaborative and team-focused approach
● Availability to start at short notice or within a short notice period

This role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an
immediate impact.

Why Apply?

This organisation has a genuinely caring and supportive culture, with a strong sense of purpose and commitment to the people they support.

You'll be joining a close-knit and experienced HR team that works collaboratively, shares
knowledge and supports one another to achieve the best outcomes.
The business is keen to appoint someone who is not only technically strong but who shares
their values and is committed to seeing the contract through to completion.
Please note that some travel to operational sites will be required, although this is not a daily requirement.

If you're an experienced Employee Relations professional looking for your next contract
opportunity in Bristol, we'd love to hear from you.
