We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Print Finisher to join a busy production team. If you have hands-on experience with commercial print finishing equipment and take pride in producing high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Print Finisher, you will carry out a range of print finishing processes to ensure all printed materials meet the highest quality standards and client specifications. You’ll work closely with our print and design teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate guillotines safely and accurately.
* Complete PUR binding for books and brochures.
* Perform die cutting of printed products.
* Produce saddle-stitched booklets.
* Operate folding, laminating, creasing, perforating and other finishing equipment.
* Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
* Pack and prepare finished jobs for dispatch.
* Carry out routine equipment maintenance and report faults.
* Collaborate with print and design teams to meet production deadlines.
* Follow all health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in print finishing.
* Experience operating guillotines, PUR binders, die cutters and stitching equipment.
* Strong knowledge of commercial print production.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
* Commercial print industry experience.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Flexibility to work overtime when required.
* Full, clean driver’s licence.
* Forklift licence or experience.
