You will support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum, develop confidence, build positive relationships, and achieve their individual learning and developmental goals. You will adapt learning activities, encourage independence, and use positive behaviour strategies to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.

Working collaboratively with school staff and families, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, communication skills, and personal development throughout the school day.

This opportunity would suit an SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Support Worker, Classroom Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant, Inclusion Support Assistant, or Education Support Worker looking to make a positive difference in local schools.

Patience, resilience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils with varying needs.
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will be subject to thorough interviewing and reference checks and must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
