Site Agent – Infrastructure Project
Location: Ramsgate, Kent
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Agent to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Ramsgate. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering works while leading site operations in a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment.
As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver project milestones.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery plans where required.
* Prepare and review RAMS, work programmes, and site documentation.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Manage labour, plant, materials, and resources efficiently.
* Support commercial activities, including cost control, variations, and reporting.
* Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and regular progress meetings.
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Essential Qualifications
* HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* SMSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
* Temporary Works Coordinator.
* NRSWA Supervisor.
* Experience working on local authority or National Highways projects.
* Knowledge of digital construction tools and site management software.
