Position : Maintenance Engineer
Bias : Mechanical
Shifts : Monday to Thursday days only - 4 day week with a 3 day weekend
Location : Sheffield
Do you want to work a 4 days week on a days only pattern ?
Great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a very well established manufacturer in the metals sector
You will probably be apprentice trained, and will be able to demonstrate proven experience of working in an industrial environment.
You will carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of production machinery and equipment.
Basic metalworking skills are extremely beneficial - metal cutting, welding, use of hand tools etc although the focus is very much on fault finding and repair.
You will :-
* Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on production machinery
* Carry out fault finding on a variety of machinery and equipment
* Support PPM schedules to minimise downtime, ensuring the CMMS is kept updated
About You
* Level 3 Qualifications / Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering (or very similar)
* Strong fault finding abilities on production machinery
* Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience of metals manufacturing
* Be able to demonstrate a hands-on maintenance background
