Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive School Attendance Officer to support a busy school team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident attendance professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. The successful candidate will have strong experience managing school attendance processes, following up on absence, working closely with families, and supporting the school to improve attendance outcomes.

You must be confident using SIMS and able to manage attendance data accurately, produce reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively with parents, staff, external agencies, and senior leaders.

The role will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a School Attendance Officer or in a similar school-based attendance role
Strong working knowledge of SIMS
Experience monitoring attendance, investigating absence, and supporting attendance interventions
Excellent communication, organisation, and administrative skills
