We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to achieve it within the required timeframe).
Have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
Demonstrate experience in identifying, assessing, and supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
Lead and develop inclusive teaching practices across the school.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND provision, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning for all pupils.
