Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC4 contract experience looking for your next career move? Conrad Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK construction and property consultancy seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-value infrastructure and construction projects, where you'll provide expert commercial and cost management support from project inception through to completion. You'll join a collaborative team delivering exceptional outcomes for clients across a range of complex schemes.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering full pre and post-contract quantity surveying services.
Preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documentation and procurement advice.
Administering and managing NEC4 contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting.
Handling valuations, compensation events, change control and final accounts.
Identifying commercial risks and implementing effective cost management strategies.
Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll ideally have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
Chartered status (MRICS) or be working towards chartership.
Strong, demonstrable experience administering NEC4 contracts - this is essential.
Experience within a consultancy or client-side environment.
Excellent commercial awareness and cost management expertise.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
A full UK driving licence.
