Are you a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary school for an enthusiastic and resilient Science Teacher (Biology Specialism) to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while working within a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated Biology lessons to secondary-aged students.
Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, including Autism.
Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders.Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience working within a SEND setting.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology/Science.
Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
Ability to start ASAP and commit through the academic year from September.
