Design and develop new products, components, and accessories using Autodesk.
Produce 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Review and improve existing product ranges to enhance performance, manufacturability,reliability, and cost efficiency.
Manage engineering change requests and maintain accurate design records.
Support product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical and can be manufactured efficiently.
Work with suppliers to source materials and components and resolve technical issue Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions.
Support the Engineering & Manufacturing department with troubleshooting design issues.Profile
A successful Design Engineer should have:
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
