We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our reputable client in Benfleet, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop and develop their career within a professional, well-equipped environment.
Key benefits:
Competitive basic salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience
Performance-based bonus structure to reward high-quality work
Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Opportunities for additional training and professional development
Support to gain MOT testing licence if desired
Stable long-term position in a friendly, team-oriented environmentDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct mechanical repairs and servicing on a diverse range of vehicles
Assist with fault diagnosis and vehicle inspections
Perform general mechanical tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Support workshop productivity and ensure work complies with manufacturer standards
Optional involvement in MOT testing; MOT tester qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop environmentRequirements:
Recognised qualification as a Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Proven experience in vehicle mechanical repairs and diagnostics
Valid driving licence; MOT testing licence is preferable but not essential
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
