Mechanical Supervisor – Substation Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a substation project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, overseeing mechanical installation works and ensuring delivery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works on site, including installation, testing, and commissioning

* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards

* Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring productivity and quality targets are met

* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks

* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

* Maintain accurate site records and reports

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on substation or similar infrastructure projects

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices within energy or utilities sectors

* SSSTS/SMSTS certification (preferred)

* CSCS card (required)

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
