We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's busy Vehicle Preparation Centre in Avonmouth, Bristol. Our client is the largest independent used car dealership in the South West, providing excellent career progression within a reputable and expanding business.

Benefits:

Competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 per annum, dependant on qualifications and experience
Overtime available at enhanced rates of 1.5X and 2X

Stable long-term career with a leading regional used car dealershipDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems
Perform servicing and repairs across all makes and models
Rebuild engines and refurbish vehicle parts
Collaborate with parts team and Pre-Delivery Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Identify hazards, monitor machinery and tool conditions, and maintain high safety standards
Complete work in a busy, professional workshop environment to a high standard
Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Minimum of one to two years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
Own comprehensive set of tools
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
